BASIC RIGHTS DURING A STRIKE

- Right to get another job while strike continues.
- Right to picket, and get another job.
- Don't quit if it is your intention to return to work at Superstore when the strike is over.
- Right to return to work at Superstore/Liquorstore when strike is over.
- Law firm Chivers Kanee Carpenter retained to represent picketers.
- Unlawful for company to pay more to scabs crossing picket line.
- Right to "charge" scabs under Union constitution.
- Right to a fair hearing for those who cross picket lines.
- Right for them to hire own lawyers.
- Some employees already asking for scabs to have large fines and pay legal costs.
- Fines and legal costs may be pursued in court.
- If there is a strike, the workplace has no representation, no contract, therefore you cannot file a grievance for discipline or dismissal, or any other unfair management behavior.
- We can not help you if you are scabbing in the store.
